You do not need to be a veteran, and you do not need to know anything about archery. A lot of what makes a range day work is people setting up targets, running the sign-in table, and making sure nobody stands around alone.

- Event setup and teardown
- Sign-in and check-in table
- Coaching, if you hold an instructor certification
- Peer mentorship — for veterans who want to walk alongside someone newer
- Food, transportation, and logistics
- Photography, once participants have consented
- Simply attending. Turnout is what makes a room feel worth walking into.
